English academics are organizing a scholarly conference on the visions of humanity in cyberculture, cyberspace and science fiction, July 1-3, 2008 at Mansfield College, Oxford, England. The Call for Papers requests creative thinking about persons and the challenges posed to the future of national, international, and global communities in these new states.

Previous conferences have focused on Diversity and Recognition, Evil & Human Wickedness, Higher Education, and Thinking with Children. View website.
